Lazyboys are taking some time off to learn some new songs, and so Jim can run “Dream Reapers Haunted House”. Check out his website: www.dreamreapers.com  It’s the number one rated Haunted House in Illinois every year by some nut job.

We will send you an e-mail, if you are on our list, when we get back in the saddle. If you’re not on our list, you can sign up now. It’s easy, and we never share your e-mail address. We always use the blind carbon copy (Bcc) feature so no one else on our list will see your address. We like to think we’re “Ultra secure”. Truth is, we just try.

The Lazyboys are a collection of local Musicians from the Chicago Metro area who got together early in 2006. We were all searching for the same thing, a chance to put together a Classic Rock band with a simple goal, to party with the people we grew up with, thru the music we grew up with. Little did we know that using that simple formula would lead to a homegrown sound and feel that offers the perfect atmosphere for a great night out.  Saturday, August 16th was the second time we performed at a “Rockin’ Block Party”, (also known as “Knochstock”).  Like last summer’s affair, it was held in the grassy retention area on Knoch Knolls Road in Naperville.  

 This event was a family friendly event for all ages.  Hamburgers and hot dogs were served. In addition, soft drinks, water, beer and wine were available, with many a dish to share. There were impressive raffle prizes.

The first band, the popular local teen band, The New Epidemic, rocked the stage followed by  Lazyboys. ”This is one of our favorite shows to play as we look forward to it next year. The weather was great, the crowd was fun and friendly. I hope everone enjoyed it as much as we did.”

The band responded well to the enthusiastic fans.  The PA sounded good. A fun night.  

A bit of an issue with getting the PA dialed in. As usual, great hospitality from the staff (thanks Jason). We played well in fits and starts. To everyone who came out, thank you, we appreciate it! 

A wonderful crowd. Great sounding room and stage. A very hospitable staff. A pleasure to play there.

Awesome sounding stage and room. Fantastic food / crowd / atmosphere.

What can we say. That was so much fun we’d like to do it again.
